We have unlimited choices. It is very important to find the destination of life, thing to live for; to devote one’s life to it fully. It is also important to make a right choice in life… But what is the right way? The main thing about it is that the way can’t be too easy. But taking the wrong way is as important and necessary as the right one. Sometimes it is even more valuable. But it doesn’t bring luck and happiness. Fortunately we have unlimited choices!
What if we make another choice and go another way? Doesn’t matter! We have results and we are completely satisfied!
The main idea about is that we have unlimited choices, which we take, and which bring us to new tasks. We pass these tests. And they help us to realize we are not those feeble poor human beings, whom we often see in ourselves. We reflect our life and spirit as a mirror.
It is just like in photography. Imagine huge lens… We can clearly see everything that is in focus; the rest is unsharp. We focus on one life and think, that there is nothing accept it. What about the other sides of us? We think they are dreams, whishes, what-I-would-be, but they are the same reality as we are. We find focus by ourselves. We have unlimited choices.
Every day we do our usual job. We go to work and we don’t look around, we must not be late. We work like a “zombie” and we don’t understand what we work for. We come back home and we don’t look around, we are too tired. But we have unlimited choices…
Life… For the whole life we try to earn as much money as possible. We spend them and even don’t really find satisfaction in it. Is it really that thing we were seeking for?
When I was a child I used to dream to be a doctor or a firefighter. Recently I’ve read: «I want to get such profession that will help people » in my childhood diary.
Only I’m a pharmacist now. Every day hundreds of people come to get my help but only a few really want to receive it…
We have unlimited choices. Choice to change. Change without turning back. Every choice we do is a blind one. Nobody can guarantee the result, the future success at this moment. We live in obscurity. We are scared. But we create our character, when we follow our own feelings about the right things, when we believe in some ideals. Even if we are not sure about the justification of our hopes.
But the main ideas of being the EVS are becoming above the lifeless systems which contain war, religions, nations, racism, destructions, stereotypes and a lot of more other things which accompany every person all over the world independently from his/her sex, nationality, religion. I would prefer to be the part of such a “new world”, to be free and of course to fulfil myself.
Even a little change today brings us to completely different future. We will never get the better life until we don’t imagine and don’t let ourselves live exactly that life. We have unlimited choices…
My choice today is being the EVS volunteer. And it is a miracle that my choice coincided with your choice of the need to have the EVS volunteer. So I’m sure next period of my life will be useful and will bring positive energy to this world. |
